The Sunken Road |

As I stood reading this sign in the Frederickburg National Cemetery my hair on the back of my neck and arms stood on end. Being at that place was kind of over whelming to me all I could think about was how the soldiers on both sides paid the ultimate price ...standing up for what they believed in . |
|

This statue stands in the middle of the cemetery. |

A creative view of the statue . This is my favorite one .I took it with my digital camera. |

This is Willis Hill cemetery . George Washingtons Nephew is buried here. This cemetery was standing way before the Civil War . You can see as you enter the Cemetery where it was shelled during the war. |

You can see the place where the wall was shot with shell . |

This pic shows two men leaning on a rock. This rock was placed in the exact spot where Stonewall was mistakenly shot by his own men. You can see Mike and Barry recreating the shot in front of the sign. I will place my 35mm pics I took here when I have time . Those pictures took with some sort of smudge or something on them...which is odd cause everything before and after took perfect. |
