The Picture to the Top left was taken at Kibler Valley VA with my vivitar digital camera. My hubby was was standing below me on the river bank had told me "NOW HONEY DON'T BE CONJURING UP ANY BOOGERS". He had heard me out loud say if any spirits are here that would like their picture taken make your self known. Well they did! The picture was taken in the last of July 2004 when I was still hopping around on crutches. I have gotten several other weird photos at this location including a pink mist floating over the water.

I found out that the location where I got the picture below at is where a man was murdered (Kenny Ardner). The murderers cut his hands off at the picnic area of Kibler valley. His body was found a week later on Ladonia Church Road in NC (near the VA border). They think the murder was drug related ..hence the cutting off of his hands. This was the murder that Dennis Stockton was convicted of. Dennis had dropped the victim off in Kibler Valley and had left him with his would be killers. It is alleged that Dennis took a pay off to kill Ardner. It was claimed that Dennis also killed another man Ronnie Tate for talking about the Ardner murder in 1979. A man testified against Stockton and claimed he was with him when the murder happened. It is important to note that the man who paid Stockton off to kill Ardner never had to serve not one day in prison for his part in the murder of Ardner.
I had heard about Dennis Stockton since my childhood. I lived close to where the killers took Kenny's body and dumped it. I was 6 years old when the murder happened. I can remember my cousin driving us to Bible School at Ladonia Church one summer and she pointed out the exact spot where Kenny was found. I can remember thinking( I was about 8 or 9 at this time) what a horrible way to die and at the hands of people whom you think are your friends. In my heart I really believe though that Dennis really did not kill Kenny but he played a part in it even though it might not have happened by his hands. I do however think he was guilty of many other things and Karma just caught up with him in the end. I think Dennis was a truly fascinating person who was so smart to the point it was often his down fall. He has a published book called Dead Run that was published after his death.

The above pictures was taken with a Polaroid PDC 3030 digital camera. The above picture was dark because my camera flash did not go off as it should have or I was standing too far away. I lightened the picture out of curiosity and was shocked to see the face in the windshield of my truck. Barry my husband and my stepson was with me they were no where around where I was snapping pictures (they know to stay way out of the way LOL) anyway ...you can see the square outline in the image that is my air freshener that is hanging on my rear view mirror. I would say normally that this was a reflection but look how the face looks 3 dimensional and it appears to be in front of my air fresher and NOT behind it. This was taken at the swimming hole area of the river where the picnic tables are and where a man was murdered in cold blood (see UPDATE ABOVE ) .
